A New Face in Philanthropy

Masonic Homes Kentucky welcomed new Senior Vice President of Development Kelly Hutchinson to its team in early January. As a Certified Fund Raising Executive, Kelly’s 30 years of experience and personal ties to Masonic Homes Kentucky, bring a new perspective to our Mission Advancement department, fund development and major gifts initiatives.

“Masonic Homes Kentucky is a special place for me because its rehab services impacted my father’s life for the better,” said Kelly. “Now, I have the opportunity to be a part of this legacy of care, and help ensure its future as a purpose-driven, not-for-profit organization.”

Previously, Kelly served as executive director of development and community relations at The Salvation Army. In this role, she was responsible for the Louisville Area Command, which covers five counties and achieved awards including Largest Single Major Gift and Overall Top Fundraising Area Command for Kentucky and Tennessee. She also served for seven years with Metro United Way and was director of the Tocqueville Society.

With the addition of Kelly, Masonic Homes Kentucky’s Development and Fraternal Relations Director David Young will have an expanded role overseeing fraternal fundraising and outreach activities. Donor Relations Manager Brenda Travis continues in her role within the department.
